Who we are

RefurbScout is an early beta service for active UK property buyers who want source-linked refurbishment opportunity scans.

Information we collect

We may collect the information you choose to submit, including your name, email address, phone number, company, target area, budget range, strategy, property preferences, notes and consent choices.

If you submit a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form, LinkedIn may send us the lead details you provided in that form. If you email us, we keep the information needed to reply and manage the beta conversation.

How we use it

We use submitted information to respond to beta enquiries, prepare or discuss sample property scans, qualify whether RefurbScout is relevant to your requirements, improve the service and keep a simple manual record of early beta conversations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use CRM, email or calendar automation for the current early sales workflow.

Analytics and cookies

We may use optional analytics or behaviour cookies only after you accept analytics cookies on the site. These can help us understand cursor movement, clicks, scroll depth and form friction.

Form fields are masked or suppressed before any analytics/session-replay provider is loaded. We do not intentionally record keystrokes or raw form contents such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, postcodes, notes, passwords or payment fields.

You can use the on-page Cookie settings button to decline or opt out of analytics cookies.

Where information is stored

Website forms are handled by Netlify Forms. LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms are handled by LinkedIn and then made available to RefurbScout. Email replies are handled in our email inbox.

For the early beta, lead follow-up is manual. We may export lead details into a limited-access spreadsheet for follow-up and beta operations.

How long we keep it

We keep beta enquiry and lead information only for as long as needed to manage the beta, respond to you, understand early demand and maintain appropriate business records. You can ask us to remove you from the beta list at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us to stop contacting you, correct your details or delete your beta enquiry information by emailing hello@refurbscout.co.uk.

If you submitted details through LinkedIn, you can also manage your LinkedIn advertising and lead form settings through your LinkedIn account.

Research-only service

RefurbScout research and sample reports are not financial, valuation, surveying, mortgage, tax, legal or investment advice. Any figures are illustrative and must be independently checked before viewing, offering or purchasing.
